Milestones are the big checkpoints in a project: "Design approved", "Site live", "Final invoice sent". They give clients a high-level view without wading through every task.

   Open a project and find Milestones

   Choose Add milestone and give it a name (and a due date if it has one).

   Link tasks to it

   When you create or edit a task, pick its milestone. You can also link existing unlinked tasks from the milestone.

   Watch it complete itself

   A milestone's completion is calculated from its linked tasks. No manual ticking.

• Drag milestones to reorder them.
• Milestone due dates show on the client's calendar, and the project page shows the next one due.
• Clients see milestones on their project page.
