Customizing your dashboard

Move, resize, remove and add back every card on a tidy grid. Your layout is yours alone.

Every card on your dashboard, the stat cards and the larger widgets alike, is a tile on a grid. You can put them anywhere, make them any size, and choose which ones you see. Cards snap to the grid, so edges always line up, and what's inside a card adapts to the room it has: a list shows as many items as fit and a chart fills the space, so nothing needs a scrollbar.

  1. 1

    Press Customize

It's at the top right of the cards. A grid appears behind them, and each card gets a grip, S / M / L buttons and a ✕.

  2. 2

    Move a card

Drag it by its grip. A shaded outline shows where it will land, and the other cards slide aside. Drop it on a card of the same size and the two swap places.

  3. 3

    Resize a card

Pick S, M or L for a third, half or the full width, or pull the corner at the bottom right to make it any size. It snaps to the grid as you pull.

  4. 4

    Remove or add cards

Press ✕ to remove one. Removed cards wait in the Add a card tray below the grid; click one to bring it back.

  5. 5

    Press Save

Nothing changes for good until you save. Cancel throws the changes away.

Things worth knowing

  • Your layout is personal. Each team member arranges their own dashboard, so changing yours never changes anyone else's. Members, admins and owners can all customize theirs.
  • Reset to default puts everything back to the standard arrangement.
  • Small cards show less. If you make a list card short, it shows fewer items rather than scrolling. Make it taller to see more.
  • On a phone the cards stack in a single column. In Customize mode you reorder them with up and down arrows; dragging and resizing are for larger screens.
  • Cards for apps you switch off are hidden but remembered. Turn the app back on and the card returns where you left it.
Your clients can customize their own portal dashboard too, and you can set the layout new clients start from. See The portal dashboard layout.
