The audit log
A permanent record of what happened in your workspace, and who did it.
The audit log records activity in your workspace so you can answer "who did that, and when?". It's available on the Advanced plan and above, under Settings → Audit Log.
What's in it
- Work activity: clients, projects, tasks and invoices created or updated, invoice reminders sent, and similar changes by your team.
- Client activity: what clients did in their portals, like viewing an invoice or sending a message.
- Security events (owners and admins only): sign-ins, failed sign-in attempts, two-factor changes, single sign-on setup, API keys created or revoked, and team changes such as invites, role changes, deactivations and removals.
- System activity: things Orbinly did on your behalf, like automations and automatic reminders.
Finding things
Use the filters to narrow by Actor (Team, Client or System) and by Type of activity.
It can't be edited
Audit entries can't be changed or deleted, not even by an owner. If a team member is removed, their past entries remain.
Security events never include passwords, tokens or message content. They record that something happened, not the secrets involved.
