An automation didn't run
Check the trigger, the timing and the run history.
- Is it active? Paused rules don't run.
- Is the trigger right? For a project trigger, check the status you chose. Overdue triggers fire when Orbinly's daily check flips an invoice to overdue.
- Is there a wait? Steps with a wait run on their due day and are checked once a day, so they won't run instantly.
- Was it skipped on purpose? Before a delayed step runs, Orbinly checks the trigger still applies. If an invoice was paid in the meantime, the step is skipped and the run history says why.
- Did something loop? Actions taken by an automation never start another automation.
- Look at the run history. Each rule shows its recent runs and steps. A failed step can be retried.
